Zenith ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Zenith Chrome extension and website handle your information.

What data we collect

Zenith collects and stores the following data locally on your device only using Chrome's built-in storage API:

• Your current study session details (task name, duration, coach mode)
• Daily session count for enforcing free plan limits
• Your license key if you purchase Zenith Pro
• Your check-in history within the current session

This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

What data we do NOT collect

• We do not collect your browsing history
• We do not record which sites you visit
• We do not collect your name, email, or any personal information through the extension
• We do not use analytics or tracking within the extension
• We do not sell any data to third parties

Website and payments

If you purchase Zenith Pro through our website, your payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment processing and can be found at stripe.com/privacy.

When you purchase Pro, we receive your email address from Stripe solely for the purpose of delivering your license key. We do not use this email for marketing without your consent.

Permissions we use

• tabs — to detect when you navigate to a distracting site during an active session so we can show a warning
• storage — to save your session preferences locally on your device
• alarms — to trigger check-in reminders during your study session
• host permissions — to inject warning overlays and check-in toasts into web pages during active sessions

Children's privacy

Zenith is intended for users of all ages including students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Since all data is stored locally on the device and nothing is transmitted to our servers, there is no personal data collection to speak of.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
